What you’ll be able to do

  • Explain in plain language what generative AI is and why it can sound right and be wrong
  • Write prompts with a task, context, audience and format, and refine them with follow-ups
  • Use placeholders so that real names and client details never go into a prompt
  • Draft emails and agendas, reword text and test spreadsheet formulas with AI help
  • Check AI output for wrong facts, changed meaning, bias and tone before anything is sent
  • Apply a simple routine that keeps personal and confidential information out of public AI tools
